I am still involved with their efforts to provide educational opportunities on Rikers Island, and I’m always happy to talk more about this work and to encourage donations to their group.

While at Teachers College, I was lucky to work as a research assistant for Prof. Michael Rebell at the Center for Educational Equity. I was involved in preparing the grounds for Cook v. Raimondo, a major federal case filed in Rhode Island in November 2018.
