I am a doctor in History and Education and American Studies with a Ph.D. from Teachers College, Columbia University and the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle. I currently teach American history and English for Economics at the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle.

My research focuses on racism in school finance from a historical perspective, with particular attention to efforts to equalize school resources in rural and urban contexts in North Carolina during the second half of the 20th century.
